It is a two year course designed for matured candidates. These candidates should be above 25years old and must be in the ministry for at least three years. DCM does not need any previous educational qualification of any sort. If a candidate comes out with a first class mark, he may be qualified to join for M.Div. program.

DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY (Dip.TH)

Diploma in Theology. It is a two year course for those who pass matriculation or equivalent (10th/SSLC pass). The Candidates must have completed18 years and should have a deep commitment to Christian Ministry.

SCOPE

The program gives sufficient preparation to students who are considering higher studies in theology.
       The program provides an ideal grounding on the way to active Christian ministry for students who aspire to take up ministerial positions of pastor, church youth worker, social worker in a church-related agency, teacher in elementary mission schools, worship leader, field missionary and much more

EQUIVALENCY

The entrance requirement into the two year Diploma in Theology programme is successful completion of 10 years of schooling or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the SSC/SSLC and are awaiting their results will be admitted provisionally until the end of the first semester.
Mature candidates who do not meet the required entrance qualification, but are at least 22 years of age, will be admitted into the programme on the basis of a qualifying exam set at the 10th standard level [three courses].

The ATA-accredited two-year Diploma in Theology is an equivalent of the HSC/+2. Applicants who have completed successfully a two-year programme that has an entrance requirement of successful completion of 10 years of schooling [SSC], but is not ATA-accredited, must appear for and successfully pass a qualifying examination consisting of three papers set at the Final year Dip Th in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian Ministry. However, such applicants will not be granted any advanced credit toward the B.Th degree
